HAILIE JADE SCOTT MATHERS

Hailie is in the Guinness Book of Records for youngest RnB entrant

Another song by Eminem, ”My Dad’s Gone Crazy” featured Hailie Jade who was only 6 years old at the time of recording which landed her name in the Guinness book of records as the youngest RnB entrant.

Hailie came up with the hook for My Dads Gone Crazy while she was running around the studio one day saying “Somebody please help me! I think my dad’s gone crazy” Eminem got Hailie to repeat the catchy lines in the studio and made it into the classic that it is today.

Hailie Jade Scott Mathers

Eminem often quite literally made a song and dance about his then-infant daughter Hailie in tracks such as “Hailie’s Song” and “Mockingbird” — but whatever happened to the little girl we learned about through Marshall Mathers’ music?

Despite her turbulent upbringing, Hailie has grown up to be an accomplished young woman and below is a roundup of everything we know about Eminem’s daughter; Hailie Mathers (Hailie Jade Scott Mathers).

Alaina and Hailie as children.

Born on Christmas Day in 1995, Hailie grew up with her cousin Alaina Mathers, who was adopted by Eminem and his then-wife Kim after her parents (her mother was Kim’s twin sister) were unable to take care of her.

As you might expect, Alaina and Hailie Mathers remain close to this day and they even spent last Christmas together with their significant others.

Hailie and Alaina (who was formally adopted in 2002) also have a younger sister named Whitney, the product of of Kim’s relationship with another man. Eminem has full custody of Whitney, while some reports suggest he’s gone so far as officially adopting her. He said of whitney Scott Mathers in 2005:

“I’m in love with that girl, man. She’s so sweet and funny.”

Although Eminem and Kim weren’t always the perfect parents, they clearly did everything they could to raise their daughter right, and Hailie has been forthcoming about praising her folks and all they’ve done for her.

In her high school yearbook, when asked who the most influential people in her life were, Hailie responded:

My mother and father because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have.

Despite her father’s high profile and vast wealth, Hailie’s parents were keen for their daughter to have as normal an upbringing as possible. Unlike the children of many celebrities, she was sent to a public school near her native Detroit.

While attending the Chippewa Valley High School, Hailie was a star pupil, graduating with a 3.9 grade point average (that’s basically an A+ for those non-Americans out there) in 2014. She was given the prestigious Summa Cum Laude status for her impressive achievement.

Looks like Hailie is set to be as successful as her famous father!

While Eminem plowed his creative energy into music and lyrics, Haile has more of a penchant for the visual arts. While at school the now-20-year-old was in Art Club. She also has athletic and academic leanings, having been a member of the volleyball team, the National Honor Society and the Student Council.

Seems like she’s a girl of many talents, just like her poetry-spitting papa.

Hailie doesn’t just have impressive academic abilities. She was also crowned homecoming queen when she graduated high school in 2014.

Although you can only see Hailey’s mom Kim in the event, Eminem was also in attendance. He watched the ceremony from the school cafeteria because he didn’t want to steal his daughter’s moment in the spotlight. Now that’s a good dad.

Another parent in attendance at the graduation explained:

“Hailie came out with her mother Kim [Scott] when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene — he wanted Hailie to have her own moment.”

Hailie has continued with her academic life by enrolling as a student at Michigan State University, where she is reportedly pursuing a degree in psychology or entrepreneurship.

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (born 18 December 1975), referred to mononymously as Sia, is an Australian singer, songwriter, record producer and video music director. She started her career as a singer in the local Adelaide acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album titled OnlySee in Australia. She then moved to London, England, and provided lead vocals for the British duo Zero 7.

In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music’s sub-label Dance Pool and released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year. Displeased with the promotion of the record, she signed to Go! Beat and released her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. The project struggled to connect with a mainstream audience, and so Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and began touring across the United States. She released her fourth and fifth studio releases, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She then took a hiatus from performing, during which she focused on songwriting for other artists. Her catalogue includes the successful collaborations “Titanium” (with David Guetta), “Diamonds” (with Rihanna) and “Wild Ones” (with Flo Rida).

In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album 1000 Forms of Fear, which debuted at No 1 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and generated the top-ten breakthrough single “Chandelier” and a trilogy of music videos starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler. In 2016, she released her seventh studio album This Is Acting, which spawned her first Hot 100 number one single, “Cheap Thrills”. The same year, Sia gave her Nostalgic for the Present Tour, which incorporated performance art elements. Sia has received an array of accolades, including ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

Reminder: MOAVERS ICON OF THE WEEK- ICELAND

FACTS ABOUT ICELAND

.There are no forests in Iceland.

. There are no surnames or family names in Iceland- Icelanders use the traditional Nordic naming system, which includes a last name that is comprised from their father’s ( or mother’s) first name with the addition of -dottir (daughter) or -son (son). That’s why their males have the name “SON” added to the end of their names. (football fans will understand that).
